In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was 'cricket', and the Word was good!
An answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything was found to be "42" by the super computer "Deep Thought" after seven and a half million years of calculations. Deep Thought qualified its answer by identifying the obvious, that the actual question itself was never known. Nevertheless, as there are 42 'laws of cricket' there can be little doubt that this was an overriding factor in producing the result.
Clearly the sum of man's knowledge has been advanced immeasurably by our collective embrace of Cricket as the focus of human endeavour.
