With the kind permission of our major sponsor, Blackburn Hotel, the club's valued volunteers (read Ross Kainey) have been afforded an exclusive opportunity to conduct a meat-tray raffle among patrons in their Sports Bar, Beer Garden and Atrium once each week all year 'round. This arrangement has now been a regular feature at the hotel on most Friday evenings since mid-year (2019) and with their continued good will, by the grace of 'god' (read Ross Kainey) it will continue indefinitely.

The draw is routinely held a little before 8:00pm after several hours of ticket selling so make sure you get yours from our friendly 'purveyor of tickets' (read ... you guessed it, Ross Kainey) and be in it to win it.

• 26 Mar '20 - COVIC-19 Pandemic Closes Major Sponsor.

 

• 30 Oct '20 - Blackburn Hotel announces it will not reopen on Mon 2 Nov '20.

 

• 4 Jan '21 - Opening hours for the Sports Bar have been extended to 9:00pm dependant upon attendance numbers. The club is hopeful of re-commencing the Friday evening meat raffle in the not to distant future but, with maximum patronage still restricted by the ongoing pandemic response, no reliable date can be provided at this time.
