"WAIT 4 LIFE" is a Blackburn North CC 2020/21 Bronze Partner

Even though some clubs don't currently have junior teams in the field there is still a need for due diligence concerning 'Child Safety'. Many younger players competing in open-age teams at clubs like Blackburn North are very much under our responsibility in this area and for that reason cricket organisations across Australia at all levels have been required to adopt "Australian Cricket's Child Safety Policy" which incorporates three key documents -

• AC Policy for Safeguarding Children and Young People   (updated 27 August 2020).

• AC Looking After Our Kids Code of Behaviour for Affiliates   (updated 27 August 2020).

• AC Commitment to Safeguarding Children & Young People   (v3).

It is appropriate that everyone at the club familiarise themselves with these documents which is in fact a requirement for all committee members, game-day and training officials.
