Resulting from Federal Government mandated limitations on the operation of premises deemed non-essential as the current COVID-19 pandemic intensifies, Blackburn Hotel, the Club's major sponsor and host of our weekly Friday evening meat-tray raffle, was forced to close from earlier this week until further notice. Members should expect a significant adverse impact on the club's receipts as our sponsorship arrangement with the hotel is 'interrupted' and weekly fundraiser forced into hiatus.

• Please practise social distancing (at least 2 metres separation between individuals, self quarantining or isolation as appropriate),
• intensify hygiene practises,
  
• eliminate all non-essential gatherings,
• don't go anywhere unless absolutely necessary,
• when kids aren't in school keep them home (no wandering the streets, parties, play-dates, sleep-overs etc), 
• diligently follow all relevant directives and advice from the recently convened 'National Cabinet' to help slow the SARS-CoV-2 virus' rate of infection.
