Last weekend our 1st XI team 'got the jump' on Bulleen-Templestowe when 'leaping Leigh' Odermatt (4/56) and slow left-arm chinaman Suresh Peiris (3/22) ripped through the visitors' batting order like a 'hot knife through butter', dismissing them for just 157. This weekend our batters set about the task at hand and gained a *2019/20 semi-final berth by overtaking Bulleen-Templestowe's total in less than 53 overs with four wickets in hand. Batting honours went to Lucas Hutchinson (58) and Damien Yze (41no).
