5 Year Web Traffic Report - 27 Aug 2020 at Noon
Date of Event Blackburn North Cricket Club : Thu Aug 27, 2020 1:00PM

It is now five years since we began using our current stand-alone traffic counter (Flag counter) to record unique visits and page views to our main website by source country/region.

Ours is not considered a busy site. Relative to others we are a small, amateur metropolitan Club with only seasonal appeal and the hit-counter displayed on our site doesn't record visits to "MyCricket" pages (results/statistics) which are traditionally where most visitors gravitate, nor to off-site pages (eg. social media) and the Blackburn North CC: "Heritage Archive" (The Heritage Network). Consequently we believe the figures are more notable than they might first appear.

Not surprisingly the vast majority of visitors are from Australia (10,786 unique visits) but perhaps more interesting is the fact that those from other countries continue to 'tick over' at a regular rate with the USA, not generally considered these days to be a 'hotbed' of cricketing enthusiasm, entrenched firmly in second place by a considerable margin. These and other visitors to our site from around the world have generated the following online visitor statistics relating to this website -

Correct at 1200 hrs Today (27 Aug '20)

13,376 - unique visits including -

1,520 from the USA

110 from unknown Asia/Pacific regions

11 from unknown European Union regions

49,762 - page views

94 - flags collected

Our thanks to the people at "Flag Counter" for this free service. Feel free to get a counter for your own use, simply click on the counter at bottom right of this page for further information. If your site needs more functionality in a counter then check out their pro options as well.
