The following advice posted on our major sponsor's home page is shared here for the information of our members and supporters -

"WE ARE CLOSED

After a recent roadmap announcement with the first steps to reopening pubs across Victoria, we wanted to let our locals know we won't be reopening on 2 November. We will reopen again when the restrictions further ease, to welcome more guests (safely, of course) to bring to life what you've been missing most - the pub atmosphere. We'll continue to provide updates following the government announcements. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!"

Blackburn Hotel has been a critical partner of Blackburn North Cricket Club for some time and it is incumbent upon all of us to make sure they are aware of our members' appreciation at every opportunity. When they do re-open please remember to wear your club branded livery whilst there (polo shirt, promo cap, face-mask etc) and present your club issued "Monty's" classic rewards card when making purchases to receive a members' discount and ensure that the Club is credited with a 'commission'.

In addition to these concessions, the hotel has since mid 2019 extended our pre-existing summer season meat-tray raffle access to an all year 'round exclusive weekly option that has proved to be a lucrative enhancement of our relationship, thanks entirely to the efforts of our resident 'Lord and Master" (preferred pronoun "god") known to the Australian Tax Office simply as 'that rotund little gendernonspecific person', Ross Kainey (refer to 29 Sep '19 News Item).

Fyi, the drive-through bottle shop is a different business with which we have no association.
