Stage-4 Lockdown Reimposed Statewide
Date of Event Blackburn North Cricket Club : Fri Feb 12, 2021 4:30PM
"DPG TREES" is a Blackburn North CC 2020/21 Bronze Partner

Please be advised that in addition to an online announcement published at 2:08pm (12 Feb '21), the following advisory relating to an impending stage-4 lock down for the State of Victoria (announced by the Premier late this morning) has been circulated on behalf of the Box Hill Reporter District Cricket Association's Committee of Management -

'With a five day lock down imposed by the Victorian State Government from 11:59 tonight (Fri 12 Feb '21) til; 11:59pm Wed 17 Feb '21. Sunday's play has been cancelled for F-Grade (round-6). We do however have a couple of days still up our sleeves so the whole round will now be played on Sunday 21 February 2021 (all things going well) & the Grand Final shifted to the following Sunday (28 Feb).

Our desire is to ensure that all teams have the opportunity to complete their season so if the pandemic response or weather impacts on the 21st we will revisit our options accordingly. Whilst regrettable that this has occurred, it is outside the association's control .....'

Advice has also emanated from Cricket Victoria at 4:17 pm today which elaborates as follows -

'... there shall be no cricket matches, cricket training, social functions, in person meetings etc. held during this time. Full shutdown restrictions apply ... stay at home order, mandatory face-masks, 5km travel limit, 2 hours/day exercise limit etc. ...'

(same as last time & no curfew ... yet)
